I figured I'd stop by and say, "Hi" as long as I have the chance. My 8 year old Gateway finally died and went to computer Heaven. I have been unable to get online for a couple of weeks now and don't know when I'll be back...I have to obtain a new machine, and don't have the $ at the moment. Hey Susan....my computer crashed and now they say they have to send it back to Gateway to get it fixed.....so much for experts eh....
Hope you get a new one soon.....

Been wondering where you got to, thought maybe you were out hunting rocks. Hope you can get it replaced soon. Check at pawn shops.

Hey Susan, sorry to hear about your computer, you might try your local circuit city, they have close outs sometimes. This compaq was marked down to $240.00 and had a $50.00 rebate from compaq!

yea i have seen some very good priced used computers and new for that fact like in the 400 doller range hey put one on layaway and put something on it every month befor you know it it will be o your desk and you will be back with us hahaha hey we cant afford to lose good rock hounds so stop lookin for rocks for a min and hit the local pawn shops and such bet ya find something nice for a good price
susan i got your message and ill work that up and post a pic for ya befor i send it back you didnt say what size it is but ill try and get acouple from it if theres room -- hey and i missed ya just fig you was houndin or just too busy to say hey

Hey Susan,,,,,Glad you're OK and kickin!! I bought my wife a new Dell 21" monitor because she can now work from home and the old monitor was too small for her. Ever since I hooked up the monitor she's been having key board prob's !! I checked EVERYTHING on her computer and still couldn't get her key board to work.I then switched mine with hers and both work fine.I reconnected hers again and it wouldn't work on her computer!! I despise dell with every ounce of my being. Crappy products and horrendous customer service, as far as I am concerned.
connrock, check and see if there are new drivers for the monitor. Or go get her a spiffy new keyboard.

geez susan I was wondering where you been- got the beard pixc in the member photo thread for ya! Hope you can work out a new compy soon- I just got my sons Gaming machine - He needed a car so I got a pretty good deal- try your local computer shop (small self owned shops) as they can often build one to your price range!

Hey, Guys! Still no machine - I'm headed for Tucson next week, and have some time off to go rockhounding, too. BAZ - any suggestions for some good Az agate? I can't stand this being computer-less. I just might have to go to Circuit City and see what they can hook me up with. RTH is a big part of my social life and I miss you all. Sands, I'm glad you got the box. Looking forward to whatever you send my way. Hope your slab saw is up and running. I find it kind of amusing that I sent a couple of your slabs back to ya.
