So - Im having a fire in the back garden the night before last and I see something out the corner of my eye. Over to the bird table I go and there are these excellent brown field mice having a nibble at the bird seeds I havent got a zoom lens - I got right up to them and they werent that scarded of me - they had a look at me for sure but just kept on nibblin How cool is that? These are totally harmless little things to me - I didnt scare them off - I just let em feed. Hell - as Clint Eastwood said in "The Outlaw Josey Wales" "Buzzards gotta eat - just like worms" Well - Mice have to eat - just like birds The third pic is as close as I got - no zoom - I was right next to them. I think its because about two years ago I trapped 7 of them in my garage with a home built safetrap and let them go in the woods a few miles away - they know I aint going to hurt them. Cool things - I just hope that Falcon doesnt come for seed at night. (Added the last pic as I didnt realise I had it at first).

Cute as long as they stay outside. I was wondering the same thing about the coconut shell, do you buy them like that or did you fill it yourself?

Administrator Mark: Fat little roly poly things. Too cute. Ever noticed that wild mice are cuter than the pet mice? And, did you on purpose put the mice ads at the top of this post (frozen feeder mice, frozen feeder rodents - stone cold killers, I say! Save the mice!)

No ads at all. It just says Rock Tumbling Hobby, the link to my private messages, under that home, help, search, members etc. Then it drops down to the top of the thread. I only get ads on a few pages here but that's because of my host file. It used to block all of them but I took some sites out because it was causing interference on a game site I visit.
