In a school just outside of Pittsburgh, a first grade teacher explained to her class that she is a Steeler's fan. She asked her students to raise their hands if they were Steeler's fans too. Not really knowing what a Steeler's fan was, but wanting to be liked by their teacher, their hands all went up into the air. However, there was one exception.

A little boy named Timmy had not gone along with the crowd. The teacher asked him why he had decided to be different... "Because I am not a Steeler's fan" says Timmy. The teacher then asked, "What are you?" Timmy said "I'm a Seahawk's fan." The teacher was a little perturbed now, her face slightly red, she asked Timmy why he was a Seahawk's fan. "Well, my mom and dad are Seahawk's fans so I'm a Seahawk's fan too." The teacher was now angry. "That's no reason" she says loudly. "What if your mom was a moron and your dad was an idiot?"

Timmy smiled and said, "Then I'd be a Steeler's fan."

Steelers rule. ;D

Usually I complain about officiating at least a little every game, but it was pretty decent I thought.

No game changing bad calls that I recall. Looked like Seattle would dominate the game early on though..

but the funny thing about the Steelers is... very unique defensive strategy. They let you succeed for a bit, and then BAM... curtain call. Colts couldnt handle it either. Congrats to the Steelers.. they deserve it.

no game changers? The "tickytack" call of offensive pass interference which negated a TD? The nonexistent holding that pulled a pass back from the 1 yd line which would have given seattle 1st and goal? The great acting by roethlisberger giving the steelers a nondeserved td?

Have you not read any sports columns? I'll give you a hint. Even the pro-steelers columnists were lamenting that this was not a clean win, no thanks to the refs. Did you watch the half-time report? Four guys who know what they are talking about pretty much agreed the refs were mucking it up.

Don't get me wrong. I like the steelers. They were my childhood team I always rooted on. I remember Bradshaw and the Steel Curtain and Franco Harris. If the Steelers had cleanly won I would not be nearly as bitter. But the refs gave them the game.
