Hey Cher, I've been a little busy lately, but nothing going on with the rocks. Haven't had any tumblers running for some time now, and I can't go rock hunting. Still working on getting my Thundercat going. It was in storage for four years and was left with gas in it. Hope to have that going soon. Also got myself into another project to transcribe an old History book into a digital format. It was published in 1882 and the printing was quite poor and there are only a few copies around. It's just shy of 1000 pages. The University of Michigan Library scanned the entire book, except a half dozen pages that were missing from their copy. They tried to run the scans through an OCR program but the results were completely unreadable. I'm taking the scanned data and retyping the entire book. I still have to get the missing pages from another copy of the book. That will have to wait till I go down state again. I've done some of this before, it's just been a while. I do these for the genealogical society that I belong to. I'm still carving, or at least trying to. Ron

Well it's about time. *smile* I'm glad you're keeping busy, makes the winter go by faster but don't stay away so long that people start worrying about you. I just don't have the time to head for Michigan to see if you got yourself stuck in some ol' snowbank somewhere. ;D Good to hear from you!!

Ahhh nothing like a shelliaced carb (oh wait that baby is a dual carbed) to while away the hours!!!! Have fun with that one ron!- Oh and don't forget the breather line- they can get plugged up and won't vent correctly!! (personal expierence on that one)

Hey Stefan, it's gets even worse. It's a three cylinder with three carbs.
Hey Hawke, my family has been in Michigan since 1824. I also have a large segment that moved to Montcalm & Allegan Counties. Their name was Pierson.

Just had to let ya'll know that today, the "Thunder" was restored to the "Cat". Carbs are all clean and I replace the stator since it tested bad, don't really know about that, but it's done now so.
Gotta tell ya, the neighbors are just gonna love me! That thing really screams. Wonder how long before the cops or the dnr nab me.
First thing I notice, was that you better be holding on tight when you take off, or you just might get left behind.
