LOL That's my feeble attempt at not being a goodie two shoes. Don't think anyone believes me though. (And thanks for the compliment *smile*)

texasrockhnd: Slick Willie did not - ahem - sleep with his intern. "I did not have s-- with that woman!" And that is why children of today think that or-- s-- is not really s--............... bullshit. Kids have considered oral sex to not be sex back when I was a kid, long before the best republican president we ever had on the democratic ticket was elected. And are you telling me having sex with an intern is more egregious than LYING about war? Outing a CIA agent or SPYING on american citizens without a warrant???

It's simple really. They are mostly all lawyers. They make stupid laws so that if they lose an election they will have all sorts of work to charge people for. They can "have their cake and eat it too"! With all that lawyer work to fall back on, it allows them steal, cheat have fun with interns, what ever. How many of us could drive off a bridge drunk, leave your "date" in the car under water, go home and have a good nights sleep before returning?? Reps/Dems/Inds a bunch of crooks and low lifes! Not too many good people have the stomach to hang out with such a bunch! I would LOVE to know how anyone in the bush crime family sleeps so well at night.

Wow! This thread really touched on a few nerves! I agree with those who say that they are all crooks. I was especially disgusted with the behavior at Coretta Scott Kings funeral yesterday...no one from the US government attended Martin's funeral and then they have the nerve to use the church pulpit to argue politics. The politics of greed is ruining this country.

Defintion of annoying: To cause slight irritation to (another) by troublesome, often repeated acts. To harass or disturb by repeated attacks. Annoy refers to mild disturbance caused by an act that tries one's patience.
Advertisements like on TV and the radio and on the internet are "annoying". I guess everyone and everything will be going to jail.
I wonder if threatening to kill somebody through an email will fall under this law? I would say that would annoy most people!

Or threatening that on a public forum, or through a PM.

1st off its all bush's fault - for whatever ails you and for eve eating that dam apple way back when. Anyway, didn't know this was a problem much less something to pass a law over but w/o a line item veto the good of the whole hopefully out ways the sum of the bad parts.

And you know what? That annoys me.

Hey Pete! Isn't that part of what we husbands are supposed to do? Hmmmm could we then be called "Rockmen of Alcatraz" if we wondered around the yard collecting rocks!!!

Sorry my witticism was taken to heart! I am apolitical. Or, at least I detest all public "servants" equally regardless of political party. Cicero (I think) said, "Kill all the lawyers." Maybe he meant "Kill all the lawyers before they become elected officials." lol

LOL Retro, I don't think it was really your "witticism taken to heart" I think it was just the whole political scene just somehow manages to "annoy" everyone in one way or another. You just can't take the whole blame for this one no matter how hard you try. *smile*

Thanks for the welcome, Baz!
Tequila Sunrises are my favorite, too, but it's got to be made with a good tequila, not the bar brand junk. And not too much grenadine, either. ;D
