I've been using flight simulator since 1995. Took my first "real" lessons in 1999 and I zipped through the first 10 hours due in part to flight simulator! Along with being a rockhound I'm an aviation nut. ;D

My 5 year old son likes to play that game at grampa's house - my dad keeps trying to show him how to use all the equipment... Alas, he only wants to bring the plane & down - My dad has "flight simulator - a century in flight" or something like that
My dad's also working on one of those remote controlled planes that you fly with the contoller - he's been working on his "Herc" since 1982 but he's been sidetracked with other projects - that thing is gonna crash & burn!!!
