I also cook on the grill when it's freezing, snowing, raining. We also have a gas smoker I use all the time, put a beef butt roast or some pork loin on and let it go. Ribeyes on the grill are my favorite. I plan on grilling some on Sunday, when it's about 8 degrees out... Have gas grill, will cook.

I'm with you Edog! That's why I don't put the grill away for the winter, just have to knock the snow off it from time to time!
Edog and Cher, since both of you are about due west of me, have the temps really dropped?? I just checked and it is 5 degrees here. When the local weather popped up on the TV it sure looked like it was much colder over your way! Seems the best indicator we have for weather here is to look and see what Minneapolis has and just wait 12-18 hours!
The burgers came out just right tonight. I buy my beef by the half from a local guy and love to toss it on the barbie!!
Stay warm, Bill

Bill, it's -20° below already and it's not even 10:00 PM yet. We're heading for about -30° I guess, with some serious windchills. Had -48° windchill last night but now the anamometer froze up so I have no idea. The tv says the windchill is -33° ... no matter how you look at it, it's too dang cold!

Sounds good to me too! I like mine well done. It is now colder outside than in my freezer! LOL! Down to -15 degrees, -20 to -30 with the windchill factor. Cold is cold to me! LOL! We are having some of the coldest temps of the year. With the snow on the ground it's just a frozen tundra out there. Within 6 minutes outside today, you will have frost bite! Ouch!

Hey, whatcha doing taking pictures on my deck? - we just got hit with major weather change - rain during the night and in the space of 1 hour a drop of 15 degrees - so all's frozen - power outages & a big 34 car wreck on the highway this morning - hubby says that posties were saying that in all their careers, this is the worse weather change they,ve ever seen - hubby wasn't a happy camper when he got back!

All I know is that you could actually see the pond freezing over last night. I now have two holes open where the pumps are spitting above the water line. Cold as a well diggers ass, but I'm still going to the Gem Shop today. Right now accuweather says it's -7 out at 9:30 am. Real feel says -27
