Glory, Glory!!! IT RAINED!!!!
I know y'all up in the Northwest don't really care to hear about more rain, but this was the first rain, really the first moisture if you don't count fog and dew, in almost four months. The last significant rainfall - significant being over 1/4" - in the lower half of my county was in October. And the lower half of my county is about 60 square miles.
Things were getting a wee bit dry down here in my part of the county/state/region.

well congrats. LOL! If we could just redistribute the moisture, I think everyone would be thrilled.

Oops. That should have read the lower half of my county is 360 (60 2) square miles. I really wasn't a math major.

Good for you, hopefully you'll get a little more. Wouldn't it be nice if (when we need the rain) it only rained at night and would be sunny all day.

Doggonnit! Our neighbors got rain but we didn't get anything? The Forest Service is already gearing up for a hot fire season here. They manned the watchtower on Mt. Elden and are already instituting camping/fire restrictions in the Natonal Forests. A first in a long time (if not ever) for Northern Arizona. That usually doesn't get underway until late spring.
Hey Hawke and Cher, flat rate some of that stuff to the southwest!
