I agree with KD. Nice photography Alice. In the second pic, it looks like the birds are saying to you, "Do you mind, I'm trying to eat!"

Great pictures - love the macaws, (they remind me of high school).
What kind of cat is that?

Thanks Everybody Joe, that is a Capybara. It's the largest rodent in the world (Comes from Central and South America... lives around marshes and swamp type areas) akansan & Hawke. That Kitty is a Lynx. they're native to North America (we have some where I live... up north though)

Does the lynx just have an uber-heavy coat or are they always that fluffy? I shall research them.
OK that is a canadian lynx. The south american lynx are much much smaller.

Okay, the up north definitely explains the fluffy coat. Cute kitty, though! (Hmmm... I'm trying to decide if he's larger than my dog. )

their average weight is 30-40 lbs so a bit more than 1/3 the size of my dogs.

Um, yeah. Zack weighs in at 110 lbs. I guess I still haven't found a cat that would put him in his place.

That's a big cat! I'm happy with the 11 pound versions here. Anything bigger than a lap size and you're asking ofr trouble. Currently there's on asleep in my lap right now and he's just the right size.
