I was going to post this in Nature's Special Treat but it's just not a treat to me. We got another eight inches since Saturday night and I thought this was kind of cool. Friday, there was barely any snow on the roof of my garage. The winds did this job of creating the mound and overhang of snow. Pretty cool eh? Another weekend like this and I won't be able to find my wagon wheel anymore but this gives you an idea of how deep it is in my backyard.

So what you're saying is that you live in igloos up there? Love your snow-dune! My grandparents lived up in the upper middle part of the state for many years. I remember some grand ole times building igloos and never understanding why my mother wouldn't let me stay the night in them.

I guess that's why you call it Minne-snow-ta! It was 70° today. Unusual, but it's supposed to snow by Wed.

We only have a few days in the year (sometimes none) where there's even 1/3 that much snow. I feel for ya.
BTW, I have relatives who live in Cokato(?) and my mother grew up in Willmar. Anywhere near you?

Me, too. I love the snow - couldn't even "visit" the snow this year without heading up to Colorado! There isn't much snow in the Northern mountains this year. The bears didn't even go into hibernation. We haven't had any measurable precip in Albuquerque since November. This has been the dryest winter on record since they began keeping records! It's hit 70 - 80 degrees several times in the last month. Damn Global Warming anyway - I don't want NM to turn into Az. S

Hey Cher, took my TCat out yesterday for what looks like my last day of riding for a while, maybe for the season. That last blast of weather went around me so I got no help at all from it. Came to one spot in the trail where all I could see was water and mud. Had to put it in reverse (on this Cat that means getting out and manually dragging the back end of nearly 700 pound machine to point the other way) and go back home.
I'm still hoping for more snow though!

We've got so much up here it's sickening. All you see are trailer after trailer heading north but at least it's been good for the resorts and stuff. Today it rained, now it's snowing again *sigh* I hope all of March isn't like this.
