Hi all. This is exciting news, well, at least it is for me. One of my Bonsai Wisteria, now about 25 years old, has decided to flower for the first time ever. Anybody who has had wisteria growing in their yard knows that the best part of the plant is when it flowers in early spring, and the rest of the year it's just an unruly vine that wants to grow all over the place. And that's all this plant did, just leaf out in spring and grow wildly all year. Here's one of the many flower buds. And here is my 20 year old Boxwood. This one started out as just a nursery plant in a 4" container. I'll post more pics of the wisteria when it is in full bloom. Ed

Wow that's so cool. You've been taking care of that plant for 25 years now? That's a lot of patience.

Ahh I am reminded of the Denise the Menace film where the flower blooms but once in a lifetime and then only for a minute & everyone misses it due to the misadventures of a 6 year old
you must take a picture when it blooms

I looks like the hailstorm actually helped your yard. I have an aloe plant that blooms once a year and I thought that was rare! 25 yrs.
