I just entered into the 21st century when it comes to computers. I was working on a mac from about 8 years ago that I upgraded and thought it was fast. Holy crap, was I ever suprised when I got this new mac hooked up to the internet. With the DSL these pages just fly open. This is so cool. And because it's still a mac, I still don't have to worry too much about viruses. I love this machine!

welcome to the 21st century ed oh, and watch out for bugs, they are starting to make them for the macs as well but nothing like the microsoft epidemic

That's great, what model did you get? I have a G4 w/ 2-1000Mh processors. I like this machine, working on large Photoshop files is a breeze! It is getting to be a few years old though... Well, congrats!!  |

Yep, congrats on the new Mac. You are fairly safe for now, but the more popular Apple and its products become, the more vunerable you will be just like us PC users.

Joe, I bought the imac G5 with a 20" screen. It's got a 1.8ghz processor but what is super fast is the front side bus, at 600mhz. My old computer had a 500mhz processor, but only a 33mhz front side bus. Man, this thing is fast.
