There's gotta be something, as I know of at least three active clubs/shows in the middle of Kansas. I have a hard time believing everyone gets all their materials from out of state for the local clubs.
The only thing I really know about is the Flint Hills. Runs right up the middle/eastern half of the state. Don't know any great collection points, as I was not really into rocks when I lived there.

My book has 81 places listed in Kansas. Most of them through the middle of the state with a few in the mid. far southern counties.Earth Treasures is the name of the book can find it at amazon books. I can list some sites for you if you like. Let me know locations that are near you (county only). George
