Well this past weekend and Monday it was 20C outside (sorry don't know the conversion 54?maybe) and the kids were outside running shoes, sunscreen & without coats, today -8C (below freezing) and boots, snowpants, hats, mitts scarves - what is this sillyness?
I was all ready to get digging and it all froze up again
I told you guys that our robins here keel over frozen each year!!! The tree buds have frozen & won't show up for a long time after the thaw! This just sucks!!! Wher is this spring I saw two days ago?

Wait for at least one more freak snow fall tweetie, then it'll be safe to plant (After Mothers day usually).

I keep trying to pull it north Tweet, it just doesn't want to stay. I've decided to go south for a week, hope they get rid of some of those storms down there.

The worse thing is (this is soooo bad...) I had decided to forgoe the $82.50 monthly bus pass cost and took my bike out to bike to work on April 3rd (20 km each way - 12.42 miles - got the calcultor out) and biked in to work - with mitts on & long bike pants, T-shirt, sweater & windbreaker coat on & made it to work (with the wind in my face at times) in 40 minutes (no conversion necessary here) - not sure how I did that. But brought my bike in for a tune-up and now have to wait 2-3 weeks for it to come back (sigh) I tried saving money & getting exercise (this was my new years resolution last year & last summer I took the bus most days) this year I HAVE to take my bike (I'm beat when I get to work but at least I sleep better - & I need to shed these extra baby pounds (my baby is turning 6 next month). I'll have to wait until May to bike to work (which may be good as we got snow again - they used the "F" word on the radio - "flurries" - bad word!

I'm still looking at a three foot snowbank in my back yard from where the city plow piled it up, jerks. I sure hope we don't get anymore, we hit 60 today which was so nice and for the first time actually had the doors of the house open to let a bit of breeze through. Didn't last too long though, wind switched to the north and that's still cold.
