Wow, that's something we never experience here. We get hurricanes but we know when they're coming, much more predictable then tornadoes. I hope you're ok Darlin

tweetie we're in mississippi and usually our bad weather comes from texas but this came from kansas and hit a warm, moist front coming up off the gulf coast. i don't know what happens when it hits the mississippi river but it can just develop as it crosses the river and that gives us about 20 minutes to run.
kd it is windy, cloudy and temp dropped about 20 degrees - it's very nice now. i'll go get you a pic of our "bayou" which was going down after the winter rain. it's all full again now! pdwight and rckhndk has it gone over ya'll? hope our georgians are ok too. poor tennessee.....
randy it looked to me like it was coming straight toward you. does it hit some ocean air or something and break up before it gets to you?

this is what the bayou normally looks like at this time of year on the north side of the driveway with the water contained between the line of trees it had not receded all the way back this year but was starting to get there. normally i can mow everything on either side of the line of small trees south side of the driveway normally now kim

Kim, most hurricanes either go back out to sea or head inland before they get to us, we usually just catch the winds from the edge of the hurricane. Isabel torn us a new one though, alot of houses ended up with trees falling through them.

Kim hope you are alright today. My mom and uncles live in Tennessee, about 60 miles from where all the damage was. Terry
