the guys are here now doing the wiring and they say it will be filling with water on monday if it doesn't rain

the deep end is full and we have 2 inches in the shallow end. if they come back on the 5 th to back fill the dirt "sand" we shall be swimming Wednesday night. but with no heater hooked up it shall be a bit cold.

since they back filled on Wednesday they boys have been swimming and i went in a couple times today. they said the cement will get started sometime this week. i did concrete for eight years and still do the steps and porches now for my brother's houses. so it will be hard to have someone else do my own cement .

wiz we did the same thing when they were putting my friend's pool in. we just couldn't wait on the concrete. she wasn't happy with her concrete. doesn't the dirt need to have time to settle and compact before they lay concrete?

this company is so sure of the strength of the pool that on Monday they told me to fill it up so we could swim even though it was not back filled at all. then back filled on Wednesday and then power tamped it on Friday. so it is ready for cement now. the only problem is that the heater has a pilot light not electronic ignition. which they told me it was.
