Watch out for the Easter Bunny, don't want him to hide our rocks.

I LOVE peeps!!! A few years ago I was standing in line at a grocery store in mid Sept, and they had a few packages of peeps left over from Easter marked down to $.25, so I bought them. Did you know peeps don't get stale as long as they are wrapped? My wife and kids told me I was crazy!!!

Don, Don, Don, what are we gonna do w/ you?...LOL. PEEPS are an Easter Tradition (I guess....I thought they'd have them in Canada too, but maybe they don't.) We may have to send you care package w/ some PEEPS. Here's a link.... www.marshmallowpeeps.com/Other PEEP related site.... www.peepresearch.org/PEEP Worship Page...There is more info here about PEEPS than you can imagine. PEEP games, PEEP Travel, PEEP torture, PEEP exploitation...etc. I can't believe people defile those innocent little birds....LOL www.geekbabe.com/peeps/Enjoy getting "PEEPified" LOL, gaetz

I personally don't like peeps. To me they are just sugar-coated, dyed and shaped marshmellows. But I'm glad someone likes them.
We aren't having our big family Easter dinner and egg hunt this year, but I'm almost relieved. I'm too busy with other stuff. But we'll have a nice time anyway within our own immediate family units. My daughter doesn't believe in the bunny anymore, so I told her that there would be nothing out for her in the morning. Little does she know, she'll wake up to a note to look on the front porch!
Happy Easter to all of us in this great group!

Happy Happy Easter Everyone - That's the only thing I miss about not having kids around. I don't get any chocolate bunnies. Major chocoholic, I admit it *smile*

Happy Easter everyone. To get in the spirit of Easter this morning, my wife yells.."Whats that outside!" I run outside and yell "its the Easter bunny and he hopping down the road". My son runs to the window and starts looking out the window for the Easter Bunny. It was all I could do not to start laughing. My son is nine, not sure how many more years before the fun is gone.
Went to my Aunt's house to her "Spring Celebration". She had to change the name of her party, which she throws every Easter because her daughter married a Jehovah's Witness, which means she couldn't come to an Easter party. Another aunt changed Thanksgiving to Fall Festival so that my cousin could come to the party.

We may have to send you care package w/ some PEEPS. I'm not much for sweets, so I thought maybe it was just me, but I asked my 12 year-old today if she knew what peeps were, and she didn't have the foggiest idea. So at least in this part of the country, they haven't made inroads. I have seen thick, marshmallow, shaped bunnies and chicks, but I think they were just kind of generic brand, and they certainly aren't very common. Marketing opportunity? KD, very amusing graphic!

Don, Peeps have been around since I was a kid, so that makes them pretty old.
KD, thank you for that picture, it's been a long time since I laughed that hard.
