Of course the plane. Flying around in a plane like that - I can't think of anything more thrilling.

Nice plane! Is that a modified Mustang? Looks perfectly flight worthy to me, if CP is into aviation it will be something he will never forget so I think it is a great idea! I used simulators for years before I started with real lessons. (and read a ton of books) It helped me out so much to already be familiar with the instuments and dynamics of the aircraft that I actually taxied the plane, took off and did manuvers all in my intro flight. The only thing I didn't do was land, my instructor wasn't that brave! I think mom should be more afraid of when CP is able to drive a car, more accidents happen down here than up there. Just my 2 "love for aviation" cents!

It's an kit plane called an F1 Rocket, here's a link to a website with more pics of this plane on it. Scroll down and you'll find Greg Connell's "pilot report" and more pics. www.vincesrocket.com/Pilot%20reports.html

What a screaming blast that will be.
I often think how cool it would be to have a plane. One could fly off for a weekend of collecting all over the country.

i sure hope he is a great pilot...i haven't met him yet..but we will in a couple of days...my brother in law would never put cp in a situation that was not safe....and i assume even he(mr connell) wouldnt want to go down....even with his own plane...ill post pics of cp getting ready for the maiden flight...she is still shouting....IT AINT GONNA HAPPEN...but im just ignoring her...hahahahaaha

Let CP go up just one time..he will either be hooked or too sick to care....I betting he gonna get hooked. I have flown in small planes many times..my father had one. He was one of the first licenced pilots in Texas...lic # 31 and was an instructor during WWII so I had lots of air time....just never got bit by the flying bug myself untill it was way too late for me. Give mom a shot of good whisky to settle her nerves or better yet...give her a shopping trip.....but by all means let CP go up for at least one flight.

Coooooooooooool! if you put a tumbler in there and do some barrel rolls with the plane you could end up with some really nice rocks - they can fill up mom's pants to hide..., well you know what she'll have to hide if that plane does barrel rolls! I'd love to do that - my son plays Flight simulator at my dad's he just wants to fly & crash the plane, my dad is trying to show him how to keep the plane up...

Cool- CP deserves the oppertunity- I was 24 or 25 before my first plane ride (well I flew as a newborn but that don't count) It was a bush plane (the ones that land on water)- we took it to a remote Candian lake (no roads- no electricity- no nothing) I saw my first moose!!!!! and it was the most incredible expierence of my life!!!!! Tell mom (no disrespect meant here) that she needs to cut the cord and let the kid Live LIFE!!!!! GO CP GO!!!!!!!
