 One more step in the battle I've been waging has been on my side. At my last dr. appointment, I found out that one of the chemo drugs I was on can damage your hearts ability to efficiently pump blood. Needless to say that was a shocker  but it wouldn't have changed anything right? I mean when your choices are either die from cancer or take the chance that the cure for cancer might cause heart problems but you could still live. Anyway, I had to have what they call a MUGA test to evaluate my heart which they did yesterday. Amazingly, they got the results back already and just called. My heart is just fine, no damage at all. ;D ;D My final test (PET scan) is coming up on the 9th of May and I will find out on the 10th if it's really gone but my doctor truly believes it is. This long battle is almost over ... Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of your prayers and support. One day at a time, you all have helped me to fight this and I am forever grateful to all of you. Thank you for helping me throught it. Hugs to all ...  Cher |
