Wow, that was really moving, earthdog. Have you been able to be there for your brother? I can't imagine a loss like that.

Awww Jimmy, losing Freda didn't just affect your brother's life, but yours as well as thousands who listened to them. I'm sorry I never had the chance to hear them, it sounds like their verbal sparring was lots of fun. I'm sorry for your lose also.

My deepest, deepest condolences to you, and your brother. I am particularily touched, as at this time, my wife's mother also passed away. The fights started with the ashes, her brother had been trustee for the trust, and he was milking it for a significant sum. Her brother, and sister have gotten attorneys, this is three weeks later, and they are rewriting the will, the trust, and property. Mind you, her mother is not passed on, and they are rewriting her will. My wife was eliminated from the burial, the obituary, and her deeded land. The death of a loved one is a deep tragedy that lasts a lifetime. The grieving seems endless. I am touched. I am so grateful to have read about someone who was cherished, especially at a time like this. The new will reads that my wife cannot attain an attorney, and she will be responsible for the taxes in the transfer. My wife is grieving over the loss of her mother. Now add this. It has just been three weeks. I am so glad you have been there for your brother. My wife's family has made a no contact ruling so my wife cannot stop the pilfering. At least you know your brother is grieving. I am touched by your sending us the article. It means a lot, especially at a time like this. Doc

Thanks eveyone. Freda was great. She always had time to listen to everyones problems. She even helped me outta a few scrapes here and there, and never being judgemental. I haven't talked with my brother for a month or so but am planning on calling him this weekend. The written piece was good, I got choked up watching the video interview. Freda was such a good person, her nick name was Saint Freda.. I just have a hard time why things like this have to happen to people like her but aholes seem to live forever. Thanks again for your well wishes.

Earthdog, it sounds like Freda was an once in a lifetime prescence. I also agree, some people do indeed seem to live forever. I am so glad you got to share time with her. Good luck to you.
