Yeah it strikes again! and I did it once and I don,t remember how to do it!
Baz, no instructions that I know about, but you have to place things in a certain order to get a congratulations banner at the end - I can't even get near there on the cube one! I recall the one with the castle but I can't figure out the cube .... HELP me! Cher you got this one right? <Someone had PMed me a few helpful steps way back when - this is all Xena's fault for bringing this to my attention last year (yeah I always remember this game)

I got so close to finishing the grow cube but for some reason I always messed up something in the order. I still play Kitty cannon once in awhile if I need to "kill" some time but I can never seem to come close to my old record anymore. Oh-well, at least it doesn't cost me 25c each time I play it. ;D God knows how many quarters I pumped into Marble Madness before I finally gave up on it. I had to use an EMU cheat to finally see the end of that.

So what is the strategy. How do you use the level information at the end to know whay you did right. I mean, I know the LV.MAX meeans it was in the right order/position; but how to know if something needs to combe befor the sequence that seems right, or whether only items after the sequence need rearranging. Do you keep notes? Or what?

I figured out how many growth stages each level had to go through, then organized them that way.
You also have to figure out which ones inspire a next level and which ones don't. THAT was the frustrating part for me...

THAT was the frustrating part for me... Can you explain this a little more. Maybe give an example or two from the simple x-mas tree game.

deb193 -
On the Christmas tree one, the presents had to be first - each level up had the presents doing something. On the other hand, the ribbon only had one growth stage - transforming into something glittery - so it went next to last. So when you see the Lv. Max, you know you've hit all the growth stages of that item.
What threw me on the cube, the castle, and the funky flying whirlygig was when you could place four items before getting one level up. Like with the cube, the people didn't earn a level up, but whatever you played after the people did.
So basically, strategy was trial and error until I figured out what had the most growth stages and worked from there!
