Hi everyone As most of you know we're still moving into our new house (very slow move). Anyway, things are blooming left right and center over here. A lot of things I can ID, but there's 2 that I have no clue as to what they are. If you're able to ID these, it would be really appreciated This red flower has a very strong scent and grows on a tree. in the tree there's some shriveled up fruit of some sort. I'm thinking crab apple? Cherry? (Doesn't a cherry tree produce white flowers?) This one is a fairly large bush. Can't really tell you more about it. Sorry. There's no old fruit that I can see.

The first one looks like some type of flowering crab, very close in color to the ones I have. Don't eat the apples, they are for the birds. The second?? Dogwood maybe, is the bark really red on it?

Thanks Cher & KD I won't eat the fruit, promise I was thinking of cutting the tree down if it didn't have edible fruit. The people here before us planted the tree right smack in the middle in the back yard. It's a good spot to provide shade to the deck, but it's location is fairly inconvient for the kids (When they want to play soccer, etc...). It's too big to transplant unfortunately. KD, you're right. it's a very pretty bush. Thanks for the ID. Thankfully we don't have any deer. Hubby is down right now, but will be going back on Friday
