Now we can sit around the candle whenever we feel like it. *smile* And I wanted to share it with everyone, I wish I could make it scratch n sniff so you could smell how wonderful it smells. Another little kindness that has made my day Mishelle, this was so thoughtful of you and the card is lovely. Thank you!

Cher- So how big of an impact have the RTH'ers helped you thru this? You've really had a great support group here and I'm guessing it was a big help to get feedback from your friends here, huh? Kudos to you Mishelle. I'm sure you've made a lot of people around the world smile, not just one in northern Minnesota and one in Salt Lake City, Utah. gaetz

I can't even begin to tell you how many times some little thing has happened through this forum and my violet forum that really made my day. Gaetz, the impact is far more reaching than anyone even realizes. Whether it's the time taken to write a pm, a card or little surprise in the mail and to know that this is from people who genuinely care, even if you've never met face to face. It's really has had an astonishing impact on me during my fight.
You don't know how many times I was laying on the couch sick as could be when the mail would come with a card. Sometimes with a note, sometimes with just a smiley and "thinking of you" ... to me they were like huge hugs bringing encouragement to want to fight. I was really lucky, even though I had many sick days, there's others I know that had it far worse and they didn't have friends like I've had here. In fact, I've got people here that I've known for years that never even called me to see how I was doing. I got far more encouragement from my internet friends.
Don't even doubt what a kind word or a little note to ask "how you doing" means when someone is sick ... it means the world. Know that your encouragement has not only touched my life but the lives of my entire family.

Cher, you definitely deserve it! I can't say I know what you went thru to get to the point you are at now, but just thru this board, I can tell what a strong and courageous person you are and by that - you have given me a new outlook on life. I have to THANK YOU for doing that. Like you said, no matter how bad you think you have it, you see others have issues that they battle every day and I think most of us here can draw strength from knowing there are people that genuinely care.
So if I made you or someone else smile today, that puts a HUGE smile on my face!
