One day, little Suzy decided she wanted to take Trixie, the family dog, for a walk. She asked her Mommy for a leash, but her Mommy explained that it would not be a good thing to do, because Trixie was in heat and needed to stay in the house because of the boy dogs.
Suzy was not happy about this, so she went to find her Daddy. She explained what Mommy had told her, and her Daddy quickly came up with a solution.
They went to the garage, where Daddy found a can of gasoline. He poured a good amount of the gas all over Trixie and rubbed it in really well, and explained to Suzy that it would prevent all of the other dogs from smelling anything, and that it would be OK to take her for a walk now.
So,Suzy and Trixie went on their way. They were gone for a long while, and Mommy and Daddy began to worry. It wasn't much longer when Suzy returned home, but Trixie, the dog was not with her. Mommy and Daddy asked her what had happened.
Suzy explained.
Trixie ran out of gas and there was another nice dog helping to push her home.
