I am wanting to plant some bamboo and have done extensive research looking for affordable plants. Let's say I have found some that would be considered, but I am wondering if anyone has any or knows of anyone that has some and would part with a few plants? I live in Zone 5-6 and would need a hardy bamboo.
The one I am considering buying is Nuda Bamboo - Phyllostachys nuda or Yellow Groove Bamboo - Phyllostachys aureosulcata.
I would be very happy if someone could help me.

Choosing a bamboo plant takes lots of research. I just thought I could just buy a bamboo plant and be done with it.... well I was totally wrong. I have spent most of the better part of 2 months checking into this and have come down to the two varieties I have mentioned.

The hard part is waiting till spring comes around again so I can order it and plant it. By then I should have my barriers in place waiting for it's children. lol
