It's nice to be able to link to photos etc in the forums but what if I have a ZIP file or something...?  I just figured someone here probably already knows about a good online file hosting site that's "free"  |

I've heard about box.net - free 1 GB of space, small monthly fee afterwards. I haven't used it, just heard about it...
Scratch that. The free version won't let you post zip files.

Yousendit.com is totally free but only hosts the file for seven days. then it is deleted off thier servers. BUt anyone can download the file if you supply the url link. There no download limit, unless they are on dialup, but then its just file types more than anything i think.

Cool! That just might work for one of my ideas at least, but wouldn't be "permanent" enough for the other.
I'm checking into my 100megs of webspace through my ISP when I find time to mess with it some more...
