What is a thunder stoem, and how did you get the two pictures to match? Pretty cool.

Comeon Doc, If you read my post you see i am a terrible speller. R u just wanting to point that out? The rainbow was too close and large to one single shot, so i took three. And use Photoshop to match them up as best as i could. There is a double rainbow there too, can you see it?

Photography tip of the day: Rainbows are a perfect example of how a polarizing filter can be your secret weapon to getting an awesome shot. Light from a rainbow is highly coherent & oriented so you can get a level of color vividness & contrast that usually requires photoshopping to achieve otherwise. I did some test photos on a rainbow a little while back & the difference was impressive with the filter on and oriented right. I tried to find them but they may now be in the "archive"...? Oh-ya, nice pic BTW Could you see a double rainbow or just the single arch?
