I got a little nudge asking how I was doing and have been wanting to pick up where I left off, now that I have a bit of sanity after an incredibly busy couple months.
Right now, I am recovering from major oral surgery where they pulled my remaining teeth and put in implants. I just have the posts right now but hopefully, I get my stitches out next week. I am SLLLLOOOOOOWWWWLLLLYYY getting back a regular diet. I managed to eat about 1/2 a hamburger and some fries today but my gums are still sore so I gave up. Mostly my diet consists of ensure, mashed potatoes, stuffing and eggs. I can't wait to bite into a big fat juicy steak with some corn on the cob.
June, I was busy with our community center getting ready for gay pride. And running a raffle. It was tiring but rewarding. And I learned alot about fundraisers.
Anyway, my tumbling has stopped because I need to order some more grit. That will come next week when payday rolls around as I really want to get back into it.
Anyway, I am alive and relatively well and look forward to more conversations with you all.

i've been wondering where you went too, glad you are back! the oral surgery sounds gruesome and so does the mushy diet, but glad you are recovering!

Oh man ...I hope you recover soon. I echo KD's "gruesome" comment but hope that at least you got good drugs.

Ouch!! I feel for ya. What an ordeal to go through. I'm glad you're back.
Aren't fundraisers just a blast. <sarcasm> I do a couple a year and UGH. It's great when it's over though, and there is money in the coffers to do good stuff. Good for you for working on Gay Pride. Important project.
What CMS do you use for your website?

Wondered where you went Hawke. Surgery does sound awful. Hope you are much better soon, and back to normal. Terry

We're in the process of redesigning the website and will probably use drupal for our CMS and phpbb for our forums.
We had a minor controversy this year, with the way things were run and we actually put on the alternative event. It went well, everyone is still friends and we're gonna plan EARLY for next year as the center had to basically organize the events on the hill in 2 months.
I am slowly adding to my reportoire (sp?) of edible foods. I am trying spaghetti tonite. I have a pair of temporary dentures that are tres uncomfortable (my mouth feels SO FULL). I understand the plates that hook onto the posts won't be nearly so big.
Cher, your sig is HILARIOUS.

I played with Drupal, couldn't really get my head around it or Joomla. I think it's because I started with Postnuke. I like the phpBB. It's certainly stable. Good luck!
