Of course I saw them days ago, but I have to tell you, sometimes they can get really funny depending what words & such are being used! I actualy think they are pretty cool! I'm assuming Mark implemented them?

Actually, I think pro-boards is the one who implemented them. Sometimes I see them but most of the time I don't. Even when they do show up, I never look at them. I'm oblivious to ads I guess. ;D

Ya, its probaords, becasue if Mark put them in they would be related to the actaul site and shows rock links and not just about anything. Though i think ive seen it once shows related links, right now its about buying computers.

If you pay close attention to these ads at the top, you will notice that for every thread or post you visit or look at, the ads will be related to the content of that thread or post. It is not exact, but I think the ads are generated by key words within the post itself - this is why there are some that are not related to things here at this sight. Also the ads seem to change every time you visit the thread or post. You can visit a thread, leave, and come back to it even 30 seconds later, and the ad will be different. I've clicked on a few that have looked interesting and have found some good info from different sights. Guess I've been spending too much time here to notice this!?! NOT!!! lol Dave

It doesn't say 'Ads by G**gle' for no reason.

What Dtcmor said. This particular thread is about computer related things - the Internet in general, what you see on the computer, etc. Other threads that are about grits, rock supplies, etc. get rock related items. I've found it interesting to watch how the ads change as the thread evolves in typical RTH fashion away from the original post. What once was rock related ads slowly morph into non-rock ads. When you hit post to a message, it kinda becomes a free-for-all. Right now I'm looking at a vacation package to Holland! Anyone want to come?

The Cicada thread had an exterminator ad, last time I looked!
