I've finally given up on teaching myself how to do photobucket. I consider myself to have a reasonable amount of intelligence, but this has eluded me. So...I'm gonna hire one of those people to come to the house to teach me. Around here they call them Geek Squad or Geeks a Knockin. Snowdog sent me e-mail about the agate pre-forms he's finishing for me & I wanted to post them here so you could see, but I'm an idiot, so I can't. Grrrrrr! (the forms are so small, he's doing them by hand & he already lost part of a finger nail. Crap! He's gonna want hazard pay...I just know it!) None of my children or their SO's know how...neighbors don't know how & I've tried to follow the explanations posted here on RTH, but I get sooo lost it's not funny. I've got so many things I want to show people & tell people but I can't yet. BUT I WILL! By the time I learn how & start posting...ya'll are gonna get sick to death of me & I'll be hearing, "Basta! Stop! No More!" I'll let ya know when the Geeks come to train me!

Liz, youll be kicking yourself if you pay for someone to come over and show you how easy it really is. If you can put pictures into PB, your only 1 button away from getting the code to include in your threads. IM with Stephan, its too easy once you see what you actually have to do.

See! That's just it! Is there an easier way? I don't have to use photobucket...I just didn't realize there was another way. I don't care about the expense of a geek ( sounds funny, don't it?) sometimes you just throw up your hands & say, "Jesus! Save me now!"

Let me ask you, Do you see the button when logged into your PB account at the bottom of the page, right hand side, "Generate HTML & IMG code"?
select a couple photos in your account by marking the box under each with the checkmark. Then click that button. If you are able to do that, you just about done.

Posted by NMrocks last August: 1. Download your photos to a file on your computer. 2. Go to www.Photobucket.com and set up an account. 3. L click on the space marked photo, then L click on Browse. 4. Select the folder wherein your photo lies. 5. Double L click on the name of the photo you want to send to Photobucket. 6. L click SUBMIT. Your photo should successfully load to Photobucket. 7. Resize large photos by clicking on Edit, then selecting 75%, 50% or 25%. WARNING: Once resized you can NOT make the photo larger again. 8. To link the photo to your thread, L click to highlight the IMG title or name of your photo, then R click the highlighted name. A window should appear. Are you familiar with COPY and PASTE? 9. L click COPY, then PASTE to your thread. You can PREVIEW your thread before you actually post it to check for problems. K? Hope it works for ya. Susan

Hey - anybody with high speed connection that wants a personal turotial on Photobucket, photoshop, fancy posting .. etc - I can help you out.
I will set up so that your system shadows mine, and you see on your screen everything I do on my screen. Also, you call me and we talk while this is happening. You are up to speed in no time.
