Hi All. I was messing around wit a fish eye lens of my old Pentax K1000 SLR and just held the lens at the front of my Fuji S304 and came up with this shot of my garden, Interesting bit distorted on the edges but it gets all in !! including the rabbit !! Thanks for looking ,I took one simular in a game park in Africa through a binocular of a Gazel back in the 1976 simular results Jack Yorkshire UK

A very interesting shot. You just held the lens in front of another camera? That worked out quite well! An old Pentax? I have a Pentax Spotmatic SLR that my parents gave me as a graduation present from college. It works as good as the day I got it.
BTW, everything looks so green. We have been lacking rain most of the summer here and my yard is more on the brown side.

Here's a morel mushroom photo I took with a home-made single element fish-eye effect lens: You can barely notice the fish-eye effect because of the close-up but the extra background depth is a dead giveaway. It's sure fun to play with special effects though!

Jack - I did the same binocular trick years ago when the QE II sailed up Long Island Sound, part of a three day cruise to nowhere out of New York. She was about five or six miles away but it came out ok.
Biggest 'boat' the sound has ever seen. They needed a Coast Guard escort just to keep all the idiots in their little teeny boats away from the hull.

Hi All, Yes its fun the mushrooms are great and the background good photo KG1960 I have had a lot of plants on the lawn and watered them with a sprayer hence the green grass It is very dry and droughty elsewhere this year is exceptionaly dry
