I got my hair cut last week, Shawna cut a whole 1/4 inch off. lol, this was to get rid of the split ends so it can grow another foot or so. ;D

Randy, mine was that long about 3 years ago (in fact with the goat and the hair we looked alot alike only I have blue eyes) and well...
all that I can say is don't drink when the shears are nearby, the wife and I were giggling as she made me go from the biker look to Gomer Pyle!
Last year I took it down bald, but before I did I had a mowawk for about 24 hours. Just something that I had to do I guess?

I had the Gomer Pyle look for more than 20 years, I retired from the Navy 4 years ago. I'm a free man now, and I'm gonna grow it until I trip on it! ;D

I collect truck banks and die-cast cars. I have hundreds of them, been collecting for 25 years. I love cars, all sizes!!

I haven't a clue as to the motivation for this, but hubby always had a pretty long ponytail, middle of the back. Two years ago, the day we got home from Sturgis, I said 'c'mere for a minute---', and I took his hair down to 1/4" all over. Freaked everybody out. But he liked it, so has kept it short ever since. And last week--I cut off most of his beard. I just felt like it!!!!!! So don't stand close to me when I have a scissors in my hands!!

One of the few rules I've ever followed that served me well in life..."never date a man with nice hair than you". One of these days I'm gonna write them all down.

you should, Herm, we can all contribute with at least one rule or life lesson....start a new thread and i will add at least one.....
my hubby had long hair when i met him and started a beard and 'stache when we first got together. his hair got shorter in proportion with his corporate ascension and the day he shaved his facial hair i couldn't stop staring at this strange guy, certainly not the one i married!!!
but i got used to it and it made him look a lot younger. as much as i love long hair on a man, i believe there comes a time when it should be at least styled to match the age. nothing worse than a pencil thin white ponytail on some stinky old fart!
just my opinioin, and Randy, don't worry, you got lots of time left before you reach that point!
