just got home from being with my dad at the emergence room. he got dizzy then started throwing up.all test came back fine but he is still not able to stand up with out having to hold on to something to balance himself. was calling my mom to tell her about a death on my wife's side "her cousin die three weeks ago age 38" now his father died tonight and mom said gotta go dad wants to go to the ER. told her to call 911 but she said no, so i called my brother who still lives near her in philly and he took them .

he is home thank god it was a small stroke. they think it happened when he turned his head to the right real fast. hence cutting off the blood to the brain when the vein in the back of his neck was pinched closed. there is three spots in the brain that show damage but he shows now signs of having a storke. now mom is going in on thursday to have both knees replaced.
thanks for the prayers

Glad Dad is ok (oh man How scary!!) Tell mom our prayers are with her- My Aunt had that Knee replacement- Was a rough go as she healed- but she jokes now that she has the knees of a 16 year old (and the body of a 70 year old!!!)

went and saw mom today. she had the knees done yesterday, they did the new procedure where they just put new ends on the bone not the full joint. she looked dead when i walked in. i have never seen her in that much pain. it was making her throw up. they gave her perkasets but she didn't like feeling like that and she still had the pain. so they upped the epidural and that is seeming to work. so i hope she will get some sleep tonight
thanks all for the prayers
