...to the Sunny Okanagan B.C.  I'll be gone Aug 5-15 and I probably won't have regular access to a computer with internet. You may have noticed I haven't been very active on the board lately, this is due to me being almost completely consumed with another project I have going on and my getting ready for some fun fun fun, in the sun sun sun.  ;D Don't post any pics or say anything interesting while i'm gone OK.  |

I've got a friend who lives there but she's in Boston right now... Hopefully she will be back before we have to leave so we can go up for a visit & score some Vernon boulder opal. Wow, now I know why people with low bandwidth connections sometimes complain about all the pics that get posted here.  As it turns out, the only reason my dad's computer wasn't running properly was because they had a power outage & it restarted in safe mode. I did a scandisk & regscan then freed up a few megs of disk cache and she's as good as what a 366Mhz PII with a 4.2G HD & 160M RAM on a 24kb/sec connection is gonna be Slow as techtonic plate movement! ;D Don't expect me to read or post much in the next week & a half but at least I will be able to check my PM's every day or two...
