well i played my first online money poker tournament last night.
i play a lot of free tournys and do fairly well...i win a lot of play money and just give it away to people.
about a month or so ago...i won my way thru a few free qualifying tournys...and did well in the main tourny...just to fall a little short...but 1 of the guys i played against....actually he is the 1 that took me out...asked me if i would be interested in playing a tourny or 2 on his money.
i finally took him up on his offer last night..tourny had a $55 buy in...with about 600 people starting...he would get 75 percent of any money won.
i would never gamble with my own money...so i thought it would be neat to at least play with the big boys on someone elses penny...what did i have to lose ;D.
well i ended up finishing the tourny in 9th place...won $361...not bad for a dumb ol georgia boy huh ;D....and i get $90 bucks for having fun playing poker ;D...$90 will help a lot towards cps rock rascal.
