That's a beautiful iguana Ladyt! What kind is it? Sorta looks like it could be a Jamaican green or maybe a Surinam...? Is it a female or a young male? Oh God now I miss my iguanas again. I've had a fair few of them over the years but I just don't have the space for one right now. Mr. Copperhues, Lucy & Sofia the 3rd were their names. Mr. Copperhues died of a tumor in one of his legs after living only four years and I had to give away Lucy & Sofia when I moved into a new place that didn't allow ANY pets. They were all very tame and I spoiled the heck out of them. They were almost like children to me so it was very hard to let them go... I don't know if I have the heart to raise any more.

opps, Chuck said the fish is a jack Craveil (sp) He said they're not good to eat. We always catch and release. The guys won't eat fish and I won't kill one just for me. The family has 2 dogs also, but one is to hipper for the camera and the other one hides when I get it out. But I'll catch-em soon and post pics when I do. Thanks for the compliment. . Tonja

Oh Lcars, I'm sorry for your iguanas. I have had Elvis for almost 1 year. My neighbor gave him to me after his dog attacked and killed his other ones. Needless to say, Elvis doesn't like to be touched anymore. The dog attack really scared him. My husband helped me make his cage, 4' x 4' x 2' outta pvc and wire mesh held together with twisty ties & bolts. We made it so we can bring him inside for bad weather. He just loves hanging out. I don't know what sex he is, I just call him he. He's more than tripled his size, he was very small when we got him. Figured he was to small for the dog to see as the ones he got were very big. Elvis was the baby. He loves to be misted and sit in the sun. I have tried to handle him, but he hisses and whips his tail. He likes me to hand feed him collards and to change his food bowl, but that's all. I love him anyway!!
