Man do these guys ever work clean! - one day you go visit and there's stuff all over the place, the next you come in and its been cleaned - every few days they clean up - every time they start a new stage they clean Hey Tweetie, now if you could just convince them to keep coming back and cleaning up you'll have it made! Ron ps. It really is looking great!

Nice house and yes, a 3 story would be an apartment complex here. I bet your getting excited! Is there a basement for your rockroom? Tonja

Ah Kim - the house is actually that size without the third level - they only opened up the attic space to make it liveable - I'm having flash forwards of not being able to climb all those stairs in a few years - either that or I'll be 110 pounds... (I could only wish!) - 6 weeks is all they need to build a house (working every day) but they told us 3 months to include rain & stiffling days & any unforseen delays - so far, they told me they're on time
Tonja - there is also a basement for my rock stuff & crafts - so that's up 4 stories from top to bottom *grunt grunt*
Ron: think they'll come back after they finish construction to be my maids! hehe
Wiz: I was wondering too about the rips but then noticed the joints were smoother when they ripped the paper as the cuts left little bumpy areas where the sheet rock paper wasn't cut off completely, where the neat edges meet, they left them smooth & taped up the joints

Here we are with something new - Brick & vinyl frontage - yahoo Shot of the back - Here is my bathroom - now I know why we have to choose all our stuff 3 months in advance... I don't remember chosing this ceramic tile - I like it but I thought it was more "burnt umber" & hubby thought it was more yellowish - oh well, I like it anyways And something to feed my other addiction/hobby - If I could have gotten one with Dean Cain on it I would, this is probably as close as I'll ever get to him Thanks for looking - less than 2 weeks and counting....

looking good!!!!! love the brick front we don't put the ac\heater vent in the floor incase the tub over flows. i also see the ac unit outside is lifted. do you flood in that area or is that how it is done up north?

Good point on the floor vent - but the tub has an overflow valve and pretty much only hubby takes a bath - the A/C is lifted only because that company probably does it that way - ours here is on the ground - maybe to keep the grass out of it??
They put in the floors today - vinyl flooring in kitchen/dining room as well as the half bath and carpets are all in - the hard wood floors are the very last thing to go in - next week!!!

Holy crap now that is a kitchen! We only have hard wood in the living room, the main stairs & the hallway to the bedrooms - the kitchen/dinning room has vinyl - later we might put ceramic tiles, not wood as I'm a klutz and we're all spillers in my family! Our wood is beechwood (??), and is pretty much verragated like yours but lighter
I like your table set - my next table will be glass topped - once the kids leave - in about 15 years or so

My daughter told me yesterday she saw the cabinet truck near our new place - so I checked it out - all the cupboards were all over the floor - didn,t think they'd all fit in there - I tried the thumbnail thing - let,s hope it works Here,s the upstairs bathroom counter - not enough room to get a good picture. Kitchen Here's another view (I'm standing in the dinning room to take this picture. Next week - hardwood floors & cleaning up... PS I can't get clickable thumbnails - how do I do that?

Tweety, under each picture on Photobucket there's a little check box. Check the pictures you want to make clickable and then scrool down to the bottom of the page and you'll see a large button that says "Generate HTML and IMG code" click that and then a page pops with all the codes. You'll then see a section that says the following: "IMG clickable thumbnails for message boards - recommended" you copy and paste those to get thumbnails.
Each image has 2 lines of code so if you want to type text above your pics on the board you'll have to break between those groups. Try some out and use the preview button on the board to see what it looks like before posting it. Once you see how it works you'll be a pro at it. ;D

Very nice Tweetie! Any room to put a garage addition some time in the future? Absolutely love that open attic!!!!
Wiz nice kitchen, but I have to ask about the wood floors... no warping problems due to spills or humidity? I was taught that wood floors should never go in kitchens and bathrooms (Cedar being the exception)
