If anyone's interested, here is the progress of my new house... Here is the first level - you'll have to pardon the mess.... The kitchen - can you see me in the corner cooking? My living room & part of my half bathroom Here are the kids, with the obligatory butt shots! this is my walk in closet - had to modified and it is now 6x8feet - I'm anxious to see this as it shrunk the room quite a bit - but it took away from the "reading corner" this is through the staircase out of my dinning room Here is the front Back - not my back door - I have a the same on the right as the left - More to come

Here are more pictures... This is the same shot as the walk in shot - but now with stairs from the second to the third level AND the window that's in the walk in Here is the front - with the windows put in and you can see the roof was put in as well - I like the small window at the top - we face south so hopefully this will prevent too much heat from getting in... They started the plumbing and they should be starting the brick & vinyl next week - they'll probably start the duct work next week too as the ducts are in the living room

Way awesome Tweety, I'll bet you can hardly wait to get moved in. I love the loft, that will be a great place for crafting and south is good, hopefully it will let in lots of heat to cut back on the heating bills. If you're like me, there's only a couple of months that the furnace doesn't run each year.

We move in on September 29th if all goes well - I hope so we have movers coming on Sept 30th! I'll probably do crafting in the loft, but the rock stuff goes in the basement (which is fine by me, less chance the little one will get his hands in the equipment - hubby wants to put up a workbench in the basement too.
4 levels is gonna be weird - not sure how we'll manage to go up all those stairs when we get older... or when we have to get the kids out of trouble?
I've always lived on a corner lot so it's gonna be weird to be sandwiched in between two houses... I'll update with new pics as work progresses - they're doing ductwork, electricity & plumbing this week I assume so we may sneak in once or twice this week AND the kids start at their new school Wednesday...

in between is better.. you won't have as much lawn to mow nor leaves to rake up.

Here are new pictures of the progress... My new kitchen - cupboards on all 3 walls & a WIDE connected island near the centre - as you can see they,re starting the joints this week Here is my living room - big window My main bathroom - small roman tub - hubby is upset that it is so small - everything seems smaller now - and not because we're bigger either - you can see the shower stall to the right - they put in the wrong fixtures - they're changing them today Here is the shower stall - sorry I don,t know how to keep it rotated Here are pictures of my loft - this is the front facing window - an oak railing where the beam is all the way down the stairs - it's very big, it runs the entire length of the house and pretty much the whole width too - NICE! Here is the back window Man do these guys ever work clean! - one day you go visit and there's stuff all over the place, the next you come in and its been cleaned - every few days they clean up - every time they start a new stage they clean Hopefully soon they'll be starting the finishing stuff - like brick & siding - and fun stuff like cupboards & flooring... Thanks for looking - I'm going to read up on thumbnails & hopefully be nicer to those with dialup

It's going to be so beautiful when it's done ... and huge. I'm trying to talk hubby into selling our house, three stories are just too many stairs for me. I'd love to get into a split-level type house someday ... that's my dream.

Wiz they tore off the paper where they cut the sheet rock to make a smooth joint - they're heating the house now with a blower to dry up the joints
