I think Thursday may be a bad hair day!! The forcast for Ernesto has him coming right into Tampa and exiting around Jacksonville. That puts Orlando in the worst possible postion for a storm. I was really hoping we would get through one year without a storm. I know it's still a few days out, but Thursday will come fast when everyone is freaking out at the stores. Time to get the generator out and make sure it's ready. Glad my husband went out in the boat today, cause if this track holds true, he won't get to go out for a while. At least my polish load should be done and I'll be able to spend time practicing my wire wrapping. Everybody needs to get together and pray for this storm to make an abrupt right turn and go back into the Atlantic! It's time to Rock n Roll in O'Town!! Tonja

With any luck ol' Ernnie will hook left and come on up into the Gulf of Mexico and bring us Texans some much needed rain. It can downgrade to a TS just off the coast.

Well I guess we are getting the worst of Ernesto now. Only a tropical storm, but funny thing is, as it's been traveling over Florida from south to north, the pressure has started to drop again. That usually doesn't happen until the storms get back over water. It is suppose to leave the state around Cape Canaveral, which is about 1 hr east of my house, back into the Atlantic and the gulfstream which is very warm water. I hope it doesn't hit the water and start a crazy frenzy on us with it's bands! Any way, I hope our rockhound friends in Ga and S Carolina are ready. No telling what's going to happen. For us, just a little wind and alot of rain, so far. Thanks for your prayers as they must have been heard. Tonja

:)Glad it didn't get you too bad, Tonja! They're projecting anywhere from 3" to 10" of rain in my area between now and the weekend. Glad I can swim!

Oh wow Shek, be safe. I tell ya, they cancelled the schools and everything around here and all we got was rain and wind. We get worse on a summer afternoon! We had a storm come through here today from the last straggling bands that was worse than the storm itself. The tailend bands really get crazy mixing with the heat and humidity. You be safe and get a life vest for heavens sake! Tonja

and Crud...we're getting it just in time to spoil my hopes of an outdoor birthday party for my daughter. Bleh...now i'll have 10 five-year-old fairies and their entourage crammed into my house. Oh well...darned rain!

Oh Hermatite, sorry to hear that. If it's only raining with no lightening and thunder, dress them as indians and have them go outside to do a raindance. Then when it rains, they will be happy! Only kidding, I'm sorry her party will be wet. Maybe you can go to Chucky Cheese instead of being in your house. What-ever you do, be safe! Tonja
