Hey Guys, Last Monday(8-21-06), Apache Jct and Part of Mesa and the East valley of Pheonix metro was hit bad one of the worst storms ever. I had just gotten back from my cabin trip and was doing come cleaning around the house when i noticed this nasty cell hanging out over the Goldfield Mtns.
I took this photo about 5;30pm. And by 6;20 it had dropped on us. My folks had severe damage to the north side of their house. I only lost four trees on my land. The winds were reported up here were i live at 75mph! And during the storm you couldnt see 20feet. OR be outside becsaue it was way to dangerous. Power went off about 7pm and didnt come back on till the next night around 10pm.
But the next night produce a classic sunset i had to take from my backyard. Looking towards North Mesa and Scottsdale. YOu can barley see Pass mountain in the photo.
I see another storm brewing for this afternoon. And on of my neighbors who has live in this area for over 50years states it has never been like that. Makes ya wonder why it like that now.
