This must be Chinese day (like it's not gonna be China's century) - get home from work and the paper's got this on page one above the title:
"A diamond with a flaw is worth more than a pebble without imperfections." . . . Chinese proverb
Must be one of their new 21st century capitalistic proverbs.

hmmm seems a strange saying- I mean an arbitrarily detirmind chunk of carbon with imperfections is deemed more valuable than than perfection
