Checking so see if anyone knew or could point me to some where I could find out some cell phone info. I ended up with two extra cell phones that I would like to sell on ebay. I am looking to find out what other carriers, besides the one I have, the phones would work with. My carrier is Cellular One. You can either pm me or post here. Thanks for any info you might be able to pass my way. Bill

www.howardforums.comI should warn you that it's wise to run a few forum searches there before posting or you'll run the risk of getting the "dumnoobee" treatment.

Don't know much about cell phones except this; it is a bad idea to sprint from the gas station to your truck in a hail storm lest you cell phone jump out of the holster and be lost forever. Not that that happened to me last night or anything!
In other news Mrs. BAZ is currently picking me up a new cell phone.

Thanks for the info guys! Sorry about your phone Baz, that hurts. I think I have learned enough to be able to give a description now to sell the phones. I had to redo my service and they gave me these little LG flip phones. Nice phones other than the batteries went dead in 2 days and they had very poor reception. I've been with cellone since 1990 so I called and was able to get new phones. They traded me even up for the first phone. Then they charged me $25 for the other 2 phones but didn't require that I send the old phones in? ? I figure if I can get my $25 back by selling them I will be happy, they are only 2 weeks old. They kind of confussed me by not wanting to trade them out. Maybe they have no use for a 2 week old phone??? Oh well, thanks again, Bill

Bill if you aren't able to sell the phones, alot of towns have places that give the phones to battered women's shelters so that the woman can call 911 in the event of emergency. Might be an idea if you find no buyers, also its tax deductible.
