LMAO- EL Nino's are very bad for us- We live at the end of lake erie- and when that puppy doesn't freeze we stay warmer- which is good- but it also promotes LAKE EFFECT SNOW- which is BAD- VERY VERY BAD!- if any of you have been in LES it can be brutal- Snow rates are measured in inches per hour- and storm totals are measured in FEET- A LES band can easily drop 6 inches an hour- and a storm total can easily reach 3 feet! Often time the storms will take on a trailing band effect- this is where Wave after wave of snow will dump on the same area for hours on end- It can be sunny and clear less than a mile away- yet the effected band area can see snow all day long- Makes for some interesting road trips!
