stefan, Highs in the 80's and nights in the 60's-70's here right now ! I'd invite you down here, but half of N.Y. (and Pa, N.J., etc.) is already here and housing is currently scarce . I could put you on the waiting list .

I heard that sound the other day and it made me sick to my stomach. It realy is hard to face the coming of winter.

I'm visiting in Seattle at the moment, but I sure hope those temps drop below 90 by the time I get down there in another ten days. High 80's will be fine, thank you. By the way, it's still raining in Ninilchik. They have only had three nights of frost already. Rainiest spring, summer, and fall on record for that part of Alaska.

Sorry to hear that Stefen...the last two years we've had late frost (most years it is the last weekend of September/first in October)...last night was very close but still frost free...Sunday will be close...I love the Sothwest but that eternal sun beating down on you day after day , temps in the 90s and 100s has to get real old, eventually.

robert what kind of weather change will you be experiencing in kansas? you are probably going to have the hardest winter of all because you are use to southern winters where we cut the heat on if the temp gets too low in the 60's. it is 72 here today and i was thinking it was a little cool.
