My wife is gonna kill my ass! See what having rain days and no work does to me... I bid and won two Black Forest Cuckoo Clocks made in Germany. I gotta say, the price wasn't bad though, I'm not gonna say what I paid for them. Maybe she will be happy about that. They both are 18" tall without the pendulum and 13" wide.

Awesome clocks E-dog! I've always wanted one, but I have to lay off the spending to get one. Those are beautiful and Takilla will probably love them!! Tonja

I told Takila I won them, and she wasn't mad at me.. She just asked, "what are we going to do with 2 of them"

That is some awsome carving! That alone is worth the price.

Tell her your going to put one in the living room and one in your family room. Then when they go off, you'll get stereo cuckoo birds!! LOL I'm sure you guys will figure out a couple nice places to hang them. They are very pretty. Tonja

Those are awesome. My parents took a European trip a couple of years ago and stopped at a shop in Austria. They bought a larger one similar to yours for themselves, and had two more smaller ones shipped back for me, and also my sister. Ours hangs on a narrow wall leading to the kitchen and chimes away on the quarter hour, half hour, and then the grand show on the hour. My 3yr old gets a kick out of watching the figurines pop out and dance around. I know it cost them a fortune as they custom ordered it to their liking - not to mention the shipping overseas. Hope you get as much pleasure out of yours!
