HEHEHE some of you may have seen that Buffalo, NY made the national news with our freak snowstorm??? Well Never fear I'm ok- as a matter of fact we DID NOT EVEN GET A SINGLE FLAKE!!!!!! Just 10 miles North of me they are buried!!! Nope No snow- no ice- no problems!!! Well I'm off to close up camp this weekend-

you are the first person i thought of when i saw that Buffalo got dumped on, glad you have power and no snow! that is a bit close for comfort, tho! we have sunshine, but may think about putting the plow blade on the truck!

Man lucky you, this morning I saw a few snowflakes, really freaked me out - it's still summer!!!! (in my head at least....)

Yea we doged the bullet on this one- The wife's school was closed (no Power) and the daughter's school was closed (Travel ban is preventing the teachers from getting to school) We just sat back and chuckled as we know Our day is coming- But it was nice for a change to be the ones in the clear- Hey I wonder if Ron want's to trailer his sleds out her- Lots of good riding today (all gonna be melted by early next week!)

glad you dodged that stefan! we got that arctic blast too. it's really cold here - 53 ;D. i think sands has had his heat on lol. but it's going to warm up to 70 as the day wears on. brrrrrrrrr!

WOW 53??? Actually it is pretty warm here- 32!!! I guess the big problem right now is the HEAVY WET SNOW- and the trees that still have leaves on them- The latest from the power companies is 125,000 people w/o power!!!! and they say it is gonna take all weekend to restore it! Yup our poor Northern towns are just getting blasted!

It's been snowing here for several days already but just since yesterday that the ground has gotten cold enough now that it's not melting. *sigh* This is way tooooo freakin' early, I hate winter!!! Glad it missed you Stefan.

Cher I was wondering how you guys made out? This storm caught our weather guys with there pants down!!!! Nobody predicted this much stuff!!! I sit here typing looking out at Blus skies and still no snow!!! Guess we may just miss all of it. I just got off the phone with the Mrs- and still nothing at home too! I think I'll call camp- see if they got anything-

We have a "cold" front coming through here today. Tonight is supposed to be around 63 and highs tomorrow around 80, then dipping down to 58 Saturday night. Might have to get a blanket out! LOL I wish it would snow here, hell would have to freeze over first!! LOL Someday I'll get to see snow in living color, Not tv or pics. Hope everyone in the snow regions have a safe and warm winter. According to my weather report it is still raining in Ninilchik, but the temps are down in the 30s, so snow is not far off. Geez, I feel so bad about that. Not. Have a nice winter, fellow glacier people.
