A close up This is what the experts produce But how about these? in a small fuse !!and these are photoed through a magnifying glass ? The actual size Thanks for looking Jack Yorkshire UK PS there is a American branch of SIB if anyone is interested.

Very nice work. I have seen pictures from time to time but didn't realize there was open type competion going on. I myself will be looking for other examples of this type of art form, I cant think of another word to use other than art. The members of this group are aware of the dedication and commitment it takes to produce a finished piece or project and then retain your credability as a craftsperson when it's offered up for public viewing.
I suspect that this is not the type of project for those people who don't have a considerable amount of patience.
Thank you for sharing !!!!!!!!

I'm impressed! Great work. I see you know how to do a Turk's Head also. I make gold Turk's Head rings out of 14ky. and 14kw. Great job. Looks like you are building an house also. Lots of work to do. Just think how strong it would be in an hurricane.

Hi All Thanks for looking
Xena I will tell you but no one else !! The masts are hinged (so they will lay flat) the ropes (cotton thread ) go from outside of the bottle, through the bow sprite up to the top of the first mast then through to the 2nd 3rd. and after pushing the folded ship into the bottle you pull on these "ropes" to erect the ship inside the bottle when up you apply a bit of glue to the line at the bowsprite keep tention till set then cut off the surplace cotton thread
Rember the 1st one is only mine
These little modles are kept in a bottle and are dust free for life the expert bottlers have little men on the decks the detail is fantastic on their modles
Thanks again for all your comments
