Edge Designs is an all-women run company that designs interior office space. They had a recent opportunity to do an office project in NYC. The client allowed the women of this company a free hand in all design aspects. The client was a company that was also run by all women execs. The result.........well..... We all know that men never talk..., never look at each other....and never laugh much in the restroom.... The men's room is a serious and quiet place...... But now...  |

*LOL* Now that's a hoot!! I can imagine the decor if a man was given that kind of free hand in the restroom, and the kind up uproar if the wimmins found out about it. Interesting how a man looking at this decor would think it funny and a similar decor with the same theme done by a man in a womens room would simply result in endless lawsuits for harassment. Methinks we have a definate double standard going on here *L*...mel
PS: Or maybe I'm just bitter because one of the wimmins where I used to work made me take down my "fully clothed in a tasteful evening gown" Lucy Lawless poster which I really liked just because she said it objectified her. By her I mean my fellow worker. Shoot I never even gave "her" a second glance. She didn't look nuthin like Lucy! *L*)

OK this needs a bump back to the top as I haven't heard many womens comments and I'm interested in the socio-political aspects of this sort of thing. I think this is quite funny but I'm a guy who laughs at pretty much anything. Would this be funny and PC or not were it photos of men with cameras, raised eyebrows, goggling eyes, tongues sticking out or whatever behind the womens toilets? Or would it be fodder for about a zillion lawsuits? Lets have a poll to test for double standards How many women think reversal of the images would be fair and funny. How many harrassment and lawsuits?....mel

Very, very interesting. Why, in an all-woman firm, would they have a large male bathroom anyways? Most definitely not legal in present day Amerika.... clearly sexual harassment. Doesn't bother me personally but fair is fair. Honestly, considering the trouble that PC ladies have caused in the world today, that company should have their asses sued right off.

Being a flower lover, I might have a problem there but, having friends in low places I found the rest rather creative and humorus.
Will ask Mrs. Agatemaggot for an opinion first thing tomorrow.
She is Greenbay and I'am Sea Hawk so it'l probably be a tied vote .

Yes, I've never seen a washroom like that, I mean the urinal type, not the pics (which I've never seen either ;D). Makes me wonder if it is a "real" washroom, or just something constructed for a funny photo?
