Please- Well I went to check my kiddie tumbler this AM and I noticed some dried slurry under it- hmm wonder where that came from- Well I was cleaning the barrel and noticed that the brush bristles went right through the barrel ![:'(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cry.png) The barrel had a small worn spot in it. Well this made me very sad as it was spinning the Ocean Jasper chips- Well they are at the same stage as the tthumblers so I just tossed them in there- But now I'm down to 1 tumbler- I picked up some rubber car undercoating to try to spray in the barrel but I don't have high hopes. On a lighter note I got my little trim SAW ;D Turns out Lowes was advertising the 4.5 inch for $88 not the 7 inch- well I showed the girl the online printout and she told me there was no way they would honor it- So I left my cart of home improvement stuff right there and drove over to Home Depot and got a WORKFORCE 7" wet saw fro the $88 dollars- Made a few cuts in a chunk of thunderegg I had laying around and it work real sweet- No I gotta build a clamping devise and I'll be all set to do a bit of small slabbing! Oh I'll post some pic of the saw as soon as I can!

My condolences on the loss of your kiddy tumbler ![:'(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cry.png) I'm keeping mine anyways, I have problems trying to fill up my 33B (only one barrel) - I had to split a lot of my larger stones to get smaller pieces to fill and even then, I just barely filled it to half full (which is why I'm keeping my kiddy one, to tumble the small soft rejects. But I'm sure the purchase of your saw has lessened the loss ;D congrats on that one!

Aww, sorry about the kiddie tumbler, guess it's time for you to move into the grown-up stuff. ;D WTG on the saw ... Ok, I'm extremely jealous now ... everyone is getting saws. I don't even have a freakin Home Depot without driving 100 miles to get to it.

Sorry to here about the barrel. I have one barrel thats paper thin, but it's an extra so I have time to plan out how to fix it. Not going to toss it without a few tries.
;D Rosebud, your probably talking about the same Home Depot that's a 90 minute journey from here (Duluth).

If it is the saw that True Value was also selling with the plastic tray underneath, keep your receipt. The true value in my home town, sold 3 of them and 2 of them were returned with defects, one gentleman didn't even get to use it for one full day when the motor burned up. Thought you would like to know. Tami

*smile* Haha Joanna, you're exactly right. It's the one in Duluth and is about 90 minutes from me too.

get a new tumbler and retire the worn kiddie to a shelf to remember where you started from.

Thanks for the advise on the saw- It works great- I horsed some agates through it and the motor never even groaned- Seems pretty strong- I think one of the keys with these little saws is to work slow- I spent today building a clamp and jig so I don't have to try to hand feed stuff (still a work in progress). Oh as far as getting another tumbler- well I've got about 1/3 of the credit card points saved up- soooo by the end of summer I should be there!
