To those who might have the urge to quit tumbling, making cabs or what ever,i thought about it when things were not going the way i thought they should, but one of the members pointed out to me,every rock that i pickup off the ground is 1 of a kind,i just didn`t look at it like like that but now i do,there are treasures out there just waiting to be picked upi hope everybody finds a one of a kind..........Rocky

Hmmm... That's kind-of how I feel when i'm collecting. Each one no matter how small is important, a tiny treasure in itself. As I pick each stone up I take a moment to ponder it's potential. I often wonder what kind of story each one could tell or where it will end up long after i'm gone... It sounds kinda far-out & corny but when i'm out walking the wash lines I go into a different mode. It must be a built in forraging or hunter/gatherer type instinct that's manifesting itself through different mediums. When I get out into the bush during mushroom season i'm the same way. There is definately some basic primal satisfaction in collecting "goodies", whatever they may happen to be for you.
